I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. I became interested in therapy while working with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum and their families. I pursued my Master’s degree in Counselling in Vancouver, BC, where my graduate research focused on promoting healthy body image in women and girls through dance and movement interventions. I have worked with a variety of populations in schools, homes, community agencies, and private practice. These experiences have shown me how people can overcome obstacles and become empowered in their lives.
What I believe in
I believe in our inherent capacity for healing and transformation. We are wired to not only heal, but to thrive and feel pleasure and connection; this is our birthright. We have the ability to change and live more fully in the present, leading meaningful lives. I believe in honouring the body and its wisdom. Our bodies can connect us to our inner self; in doing so, we discover more of who we are, what we desire and require, anchoring us into our wholeness.
I currently reside and work in Victoria, BC with my long time partner. I enjoy spending time in nature, yoga, dance and meditation. I have also experienced the expansiveness of a counselling relationship. I continue to do my own inner work individually and with circles of women. I am inspired by the Sacred Feminine, and I believe in the power of women healing together in community.

“I believe our suffering calls us home to ourselves; our shadows can bring us alive again.”
